My studio currently operates out of the Greenhouse Theater Center at 2257 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60614.

Students select a weekly recurring private lesson time on a session-basis. Most sessions run for 9-13 weeks during the fall, winter, spring, and summer. The final week of each session is “makeup” week for anyone who needs to schedule a makeup lesson.

Private lessons:

The new student registration form lists my current availability. After completing the form and selecting a time that works for you, I will reach out to confirm your lesson time. Lesson times are not secure until payment has been received.

Group classes:

Group learning is half of a well-rounded Suzuki experience! All new students will automatically be placed in a group class that corresponds with their instrument and level when it is available. As a Suzuki program, all students are asked to make every effort to participate in group classes when possible.

Currently during the winter session, beginning violin group class meets Saturdays 1:30-2:00.

After selecting a lesson time, you will be sent an invoice for the entire session’s lessons and group classes. Most sessions are 9-13 weeks. Your lesson time is secure for the whole session when payment is received.

Alternatively, you may choose to be billed for private lessons on a monthly basis. You will receive a bill the last week of each month, and must complete payment by the first of the month to maintain your spot on the schedule.

Please note that group class tuition is not eligible for monthly billing, and must be paid in full for the entire session.

All students must have their own instrument to take lessons. Students may rent their instrument from these rental programs in Chicago, which are not affiliated with my studio, but offer high quality rentals on a monthly and quarterly basis. Contact these rental programs directly for more information.

Students are expressly discouraged from obtaining an instrument through an online or non-musical retailer (Amazon, Target, Costco, etc). These instruments often break, are missing parts, and may not be the proper size. Please reach out if you have questions about selecting an appropriate instrument!
